Do you love New York’s Christmas store window displays?
Allegany Museum is lucky enough to house scenes from Sleeping Beauty, featuring
mechanized Sleeping Beauty characters, originally displayed in the windows of
Saks Fifth Avenue in New York City. It is very rare for such a display to
be intact.
You can see it, and press the buttons to see the tableaux come to life, at Allegany Museum, 3 Pershing St, Cumberland MD, Tuesdays through Saturdays 10 to 4, and Sundays 1 to 4 – all free!! But we are completely delighted by donations!
