Event Space & Museum Rental

About the Ballroom

The Friedland Ballroom is a stunning venue that accommodates up to 200 guests for a seated event or 400 guests for a cocktail party!

The venue includes tables and chairs, a historic bar, a catering kitchen, and a portable stage.

A quadraphonic sound system with a wireless microphone and a state-of-the-art portable video conferencing system are available upon request.

Perfect for: Weddings, Christmas Parties, Conferences, Bridal Showers, Anniversary Parties, Baby Showers, Family Reunions, Birthday Parties, Retirement Celebrations, Class Reunions, Award Ceremonies, Graduation Celebrations!

The Booking Process

  • Check Availability: Contact the museum to confirm availability and request a lease agreement, or fill out the rental request form above. 
  • Confirm Your Date: Return the signed lease with a 20% non-refundable deposit.
  • Event Layout: About one month prior to your event, staff will coordinate your floor plan. Alcohol service details will be finalized at this time, if applicable.
  • Final Payment: The remaining balance is due two weeks before the event date.

 

All alcohol must be purchased and sold by the Allegany Museum in accordance with its liquor license. Outside alcohol, third-party alcohol sales, or independently supplied alcohol are not permitted.  Bartenders are included in the rental cost.
